Social Media Strategist
Christine's experience in digital marketing was born of necessity: after founding the t-shirt brand Retro Campaigns she needed to quickly learn how to market to an audience that was scattered across social media, websites and forums. Success led to a full-time career as a Social Media Director - first at pioneering content company Freshwire, and later when Freshwire was integrated into FH ContentWorks, the global content marketing initiative from PR powerhouse FleishmanHillard.
Throughout, she worked with major consumer brands, professional service firms, B2B companies, boutique retailers and many more amazing clients. She crafts social media and content strategy tailored to individual client needs, whether they're established online or just getting their feet wet, including creative ideation and identifying opportunities for growth and leadership.
Prior to Freshwire, she spent several years in the office of the Director of Artist Relations at The Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency, a premier film & TV music talent agency in Los Angeles, identifying and researching potential client opportunities.
She's also written articles spanning the pop culture universe, covering video games, technology, news, politics and television for multiple publications. Her popular daily blog highlighting memorable moments in American political history has been featured on Tumblr's History Spotlight for the past several years.
She believes creative technologies will define the next era of digital marketing, and as a lifelong tinkerer, she's a particularly big fan of Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other microcontroller boards, and she tries to get in as many projects as her free time allows, particularly related to wearable technology, interactive design and the Internet of Things.
